Goals and planning in France
Last week, the betterplace lab team spent five days together surrounded by olive trees and clear air, a climate well suited for focused discussions and brainstorming. Our five days together culminated in ideas for our trend report, a study over the next months on questions such as how the demand for transparency is changing the social sector, or whether the higher level of participatory internet use and social media will actually lead to better social engagement; or does development aid actually serve to provide an equal voice to beneficiaries?
We also decided that, in the interest of transparency modelling, we will soon publish the metrics, evaluations and finances of the betterplace lab.
And finally, we worked on our team-building, enduring merciless hours tearing down and building each other up. Just kidding, of course. No lab member was harmed in the process, and our individual roles and activities in our team became more clear. We are looking forward to providing valuable content for the lab, such as our trend report, a glossary, and more tools for online fundraising in the coming months.
As well as whatever other wishes you may have from a Think- and Do-tank like the betterplace lab!
